Event Guide

PRE-RACE

BRING YOUR TICKETS.

  • PULL THEM UP FROM YOUR CELL PHONE WHEN YOU GET TO THE REGISTRATION TABLE, YOU WILL GET AN EMAIL WITH YOUR TICKETS. IF YOU CAN’T FIND THEM, WE CAN PULL THEM UP THROUGH THE APP WHEN YOU GET TO THE REGISTRATION TABLE. EVERYONE MUST BE A PAID PARTICIPANT (INCLUDING ALL KIDS) AND EVERYONE WHO REGISTERS WILL GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL.

WAIVERS FOR EACH PARTICIPANT.

  • THEY ARE ONLINE, NO NEED TO PRINT OR BRING THEM.

DON’T WEAR SENTIMENTAL ITEMS

  • OR ANYTHING YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET MUDDY OR GET LOST. WE OFFER FREE BAG CHECKS, SO DON’T BRING VALUABLES ON THE COURSE. (We prefer that you leave your valuables in your car, and we will check your keys while you race. We always make sure that parking is very close to the event)

BRING WATER

  • WE WILL HAVE WATER COOLERS BUT IT’S ALWAYS GOOD TO BRING YOUR OWN BOTTLES AS WELL.

BRING EXTRA CLOTHING, GARBAGE BAGS, AND TOWELS

  • WE PROVIDE A RINSE-OFF STATION, BUT NO TOWELS AND NO CHANGING ROOMS.

  • He is the Husky thats always at the check in table. Hes partially paralyzed and he loves to get pet by everyone, and you can even donate to his fundraising page.

 

RACE-DAY

ARRIVE 30-45 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR WAVE START TIME.

ONLY PARK IN APPROPRIATE PARKING SPOTS

  • AND THERE’S NEVER A PARKING FEE FROM OUR COMPANY. (WE DO NOT CONTROL ANY PARKING FEES THAT MAY BE IN PLACE FOR THE CITY OR TOWN.)

FOLLOW SIGNS AND LOOK FOR THE GREEN YOUR FIRST MUD RUN TENT.

  • THAT’S WHERE CHECK-IN / REGISTRATION WILL BE.
  • CHECK OUT THE MERCHANDISE TENT. YOU CAN PURCHASE ADDITIONAL RACE SWAG AT THE EVENT, LIKE OFFICIAL T-SHIRTS, HEADBANDS, AND HOODIES.

SAY HELLO TO NULLAH.

  • SHE IS THE YORKIE AT THE REGISTRATION TABLE AND THE OFFICIAL YOUR FIRST MUD RUN MASCOT. SHE WILL BE SAD IF YOU DO NOT SAY HI TO HER.

THE-RACE

LISTEN TO PRE-RACE INSTRUCTIONS AT THE STARTING LINE.

  • AND LINE UP 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR WAVE TIME.

MAKE SURE TO FOLLOW THE RED ARROWS AND DIRECTIONS ON THE COURSE.

  • THERE WILL BE STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS AT EVERY OBSTACLE GIVING DIRECTIONS AND ENSURING SAFETY. IF YOU CAN’T DO OR COMPLETE AN OBSTACLE, THAT’S OK, JUST GO AROUND.

IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO DO AN OBSTACLE YOU CAN SKIP IT.

  • ALWAYS LISTEN TO THE VOLUNTEERS AND STAFF STATIONED AT EVERY OBSTACLE, AND BE SAFE!

ANYONE UNDER 13

  • MUST HAVE A PARENT / GUARDIAN WHO IS A REGISTERED PARTICIPANT RUN WITH THEM, UNLESS THEY ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE “KIDS COMPETITIVE WAVE” (BUT A PARENT / GUARDIAN MUST STILL BE IN ATTENDANCE)

DO NOT LITTER

  • ANYWHERE ON THE COURSE!

ANYONE CAN RUN OUR EVENT A SECOND TIME FOR ONLY $10.

  • IF YOU HAD FUN, AND WANT TO RUN AGAIN, JUST GO TO THE FRONT DESK AND PAY $10, AND YOU GET TO DO IT ALL AGAIN!

POST-RACE

MAKE SURE TO GET YOUR MEDAL AND T-SHIRT!

  • ONCE YOU FINISH THE RACE, IF YOU BOUGHT THE “RACE PACKAGE” REGISTRATION, YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR SWAG AT THE MERCHANDISE TENT

TAKE PICTURES

  • MAKE SURE TO GET A GOOD SHOT IN FRONT OF THE YOUR FIRST MUD RUN BANNER THAT’S ATTACHED TO THE REGISTRATION TENT. AND OF COURSE, SHARE IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA #YOURFIRSTMUDRUN

USE THE HOSES AT THE RINSE OFF STATION TO CLEAN UP.

  • THERE WILL BE A RINSE-OFF STATION AVAILABLE BUT THERE WILL BE NO CHANGING STATIONS. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

POST-RACE EMAIL

  • YOU WILL GET AN EMAIL WITHIN 1 – 2 DAYS OF THE EVENT WITH ALL POST-RACE DETAILS AND EXPLAINING HOW YOU CAN ACCESS THE RACE PICTURES. THEY WILL BE AVAILABLE USUALLY 2 – 4 DAYS AFTER THE EVENT.
